How much does a Mural cost???

It is not an exact science. Depends on dimension, design detail, wall condition, access, equipment hire etc not forgetting weather or travel. A reasonable estimation can be measured length x height = square metres x $80 to $90 per sq mtr.
( $80 per sq = an average wall size - 10 x 6mtrs = 60 sq mtrs = approx $4800 + preparing designs/ travel expenses may get it to $5500 )

A basic calculation of a project budget is 1/3rd Materials + 2/3rds Labour = Total.

Smaller projects obviously cost less, such as a wall in your home- $1500 - $3000.
Community projects with participants or students about the same ( depending on size etc)

"Sketches" for proposed projects take consideration and time, these cost $300 each
(special circumstances may apply to confirmed projects - the artists discretion)
Developing "sketches" into a scale coloured concept for "presentation" toward approval by persons considering a proposed project may cost between $500 to $750.

The artist works by contract (unless special employment circumstances apply)
A commission may involve 'Copyright' agreements. This also applies to preparation designs.
